Kellie transitioned into Veterinary Medicine in 2019 after managing a childcare center for over nine years. She has always been involved in some form of animal care. Originally, she started helping pet parents care for elderly and chronically ill pets. By simply assisting owners in keeping their fur babies comfortable in their own homes or aiding with vet appointments, this allowed owners to continue to work but still give their pets a good quality of life and receive the professional care their pet needed. Due to a wonderful dachshund named Louie who received acupuncture treatments at Dr. Pope’s office, Kellie was introduced to the world of Integrative Medicine! Once she realized her passion for caring for pets, she joined the Vet Med world as a CSR at a 24-hour hospital. After the excitement of the ER, Kellie decided to look for a more serene environment that focuses on treating the patient on a more personal basis with a whole-body approach. Enter Dr. Pope and her amazing practice! Since starting, Kellie has started a 2 year Herbalist Course to expand her knowledge as she continues to have her eyes opened to all the wonders of Integrative Medicine. In her free time, Kellie enjoys walking doggos, spending time at the gym, eating everything chocolate, and lazing on the couch with her kitties.
